I know I should of searched but i dont know where to start.

Ok what I'm wonder is those who did it themselves, how did you mold the rear part of the bumper to the side of the car? Please let me know any steps/material used in this process.

i am awesome
sander
bondo
sheet metal, metal adhesive cloth
alot of time

i got a diy i had wrote for shaving my trunk of my civic ill send it to u
well see im wondering about attaching the end of the kit to the side.
like would i rivet it into the body so it doesnt move? then do i just sand everything down and start the use of bondo? im just wondering what everyone else did. i shouldnt need sheet metal for this project.
but still send it to me >smile.gif> ideas cant hurt

i am awesome
Theres no real good adhesive which bonds fiberglass to metal...using rivets isnt the best either but you may have to resort to them. Unfortunately it might crack and break off.

Also Gorilla Hair.. i think its called. Its a type of fiberglass bondo I would recommend.

I decided not to do the entire kid molding because how likely i am to scrape and then it'll look crappy quickly.
