19" wheel issue - 6G Celicas Forums
No, you should be able to run those on stock height no problem if anything lower it.
You'd definately want to lower it becuase if you don't you'll be driving a Celica SUV. >

dude i have 19x8 under my 6g....they fit a treat..
you will need 30 series tyres so your over all wheel hight stays close to standard
or else your speedo will be out...
also i have lowered my car 3" and have no problem with rubbing.... >

312whp with more to come....
I've got 19"s... (i'll post pics in the "biggest wheel" thread tonight) and still on stock struts. Now however, you will need to drop it. I suggest TEIN's and also upgrade the struts with KYB at this time. Its a 1.5" in front/ 1" in rear. If you have 35 series in the back... these will work great. Also, like stated in the other forum, you cannot put a 3" drop on 19's. Ice's car looks like a 1.5" all the way around. Speedo will be off at higher speeds. The look though.... its great. >
