whats up guys

i work at best buy and we get great employee referalls from sony and pioneer

i may possibly be picking up 2 8" pioneer subs within the next couple of weeks and i had an idea

is there any way to mount the subs into 2 independent boxes or 1 single box onto a bracket bolted the back of the back seats?

this way...reverse mounted...if i wanted i could fold the rears down to let the bass travel into the car...or leave them upright and leave the bass in the trunk?

any input would help...thanks guys
its kinda possible but u can't really get the whole sub facin farword because if u put down are seats the hole is really small even for an 8 (i got one).

how about recessing the box a little bit....so the sub stills faces inward (towards the interior) but far enough back so it doesnt rub the hole where the back seats fall down

that would work.

you can build a box that fits to the profile of your seat (a wedge shape) and mount your subs rear..... DONT fire them into the cabin.....you will loose bass......you must load the sound waves from something.....ie the rear of your car.

try this.....put down your seats and fire the subs to the front and set your volume to what you think sounds good.....

next.....turn your sub box facing rear, put up your seats and set it to the same volume.....

you deside what sounds better.... it all about what you like the best.. i think rear..
