Hey everyone, I'm new here, 15 years old, and considering a 6th Gen Celica for my first car. The other Contenders are a 5th gen Celica or my Mom's '98 Camry LE I4 >> . I am just looking to get together a little aftermarket info on the car and am wondering if anyone knows of a clean, simple body kit? Not something as "in your face" as a veilside, just something simple. Also, what do those JDM headlights cost? And are there any notable tailight upgrades for the 6th gen Celica?

as for your questions:
check out coomers 6gc.net parts database links and pics to most of what you need to know for 6th gen celicas.

yes, there are a few bodykits that are very clean, on a 15-16 year olds budget a zephyr or combat kit are your best options. the other ones get rather pricey

(zephyr/erebuni 404/ z-glide STYLE)

just remember with bodykits the price of the kit is only 1/2 the total cost, unless you have some good conections, the installation on a 4 piece kit will run you just about the same ammount as the kit itself, also ebay kits are a 50/50 chance so only bid if you are feeling lucky.

jdm headlights are EXPENSIVE... like 500-700 bucks for all 4. boibleu or john will give you an exact price that was just what i could remember.

there are no taillight "upgrades". if you are speaking altezzas then upgrade is the incorrect terminology. >> personally i will be venturing into a little taillight cover/conversion from scratch over the summer similar to the JDM gangs jail kit, and someone, i think jason, will be doing a tricky RSX (correct me if im wrong) taillight conversion that we are all interested to see how that turns out. JDM taillights are pretty sweet and run you about 350 bucks.

also forgot to mention oreo's supra taillight conversion and 1exquizit did one also but housed it a little differently.

hey welcome to 6gc.net if you want to so some engine work you can do more then you think to both the 7a and 5s fe engines you just can't power it up to much cuase the block can't hold more then 200 hp i think. and as for engine swaps you can do an engine swap that can make any honda owner pee in their pants. you have some options with this 4age, 4agze, 3s ge. 3sgte.

i believe the zglide/zephyr is a full front bumper..at least i hope so because that is the one i want to get..

I was told that it was just a lip. There is no one available right now to give me a ride to the autoshop called sense motor sport to check it out.

after looking at the pics it does look like it's just a lip...oh well..less work to install i guess >>

combat is actually $399 (front only) off andy's.

yuk the forgmann front is hideous... however i am feeling the sideskirts and if the rear was more readily available i may have sprung for that.

I don't think forgmann is still in business, they seem to have sold all their old designs to eurou.

what kind of wing is on that kit i really like that wing it looks nice.

I can pick it up for 300$ but it aint' worth it...sense and andy's local to me.

I love those skirts. Gives the car an almost widebodyish look.
