Are the pieces just painted, or are they just replaced with different colored plastics for things like the fuse box cover, etc.?

I just painted mine with high heat engine paint and for the hoses you can get those hose cover kits at most parts stores as with the paint.

Yeah mine is fine, Ive had it painted that color for a long time so it is starting to discolor a little bit from the constant heat.

here's mine...wouldn't neccessarily call it 'dressed up'. just clean, maybe :

I've been meaning to clean mine but the degreasser is just sitting there.

last time i used degreaser and rinsed it off, some bad stuff happened. although i've done it at least once a year since i've owned the car. weird.

i guess there was a slight gap in between the plug wire and the cylinder...i pulled out a plug, and it was soaked.

NOT fun trying to figure out what it was while my car was shaking and not driving over 35mph...hahaha.

^ a short tube inake would mke that look alot better
