Where to find these... - 6G Celicas Forums

those are actually just covers that go over the headlights to make them flush with the front bumper. I have no idea where you can get them, but I have a feeling they were produced by forgmann who are no longer in business. in short, it would probably be easier to get a one off custom job instead of tracking down the original manufacturer.

disappointing, I know. I was looking for them a while ago as well. >frown.gif>
they are fine looking...damn i wish i was skilled in the art of well...projector making lol
You know, those would be really easy to make. Would they be glass, or some sort of plastic?
All you would have to do is get a clear plexiglass and mold it to the shape of the holes so they sit flush with the body. And then just make a lip on the inside so you can drill holes into your body or use some kind of epoxy to keep them on. Not really hard if youthink about it.
from other pics I have seen, they appear to be clear plexi.

how many of you guys are interested? mb we can get them made.
For sure I am interested. I have been looking for these since b4 I joined c.net! Does anyone know what kind of material was used on the old ferrari GTOs, I would like to use that material.

Edit: pics of celica and GTO

i kinda like the look of the celica lights just the way they are... >rolleyes.gif>
It looks more professional with the covers. I'm interested. I'm gonna go see some friends that do glass and see if they can do it.

IMO the headilights are very stylish the way they are and I don't see why anyone would wan't to change them.

That said, the covers do look good! >biggrin.gif>

I guess it is a bit of a challenge to make a celica look awful.
make them out of a good quality plexiglass and use boiling water to bend the glass... that way you dont have to use alot of epoxy

99 project version 3.0.. hello SEMA 2010 =)

If your friends hook you up and it looks badass you should see about gettin a GB on the covers for people that want them also.
Well, I went by to talk to my friends taht own the glass shop today. They can't do it. So we suck again. Any ideas anyone? I'm gonna try and fidn some thin acrilic or plexiglass like Neverstop said. I've never molded anything before though... I have one other friend that I'm gonna check with up in TN. We shall see.
I think those covers look good, wish they still sold them.
i think i like the way they look stock, them being set back in the front of the car is what distinguishes them from every other car with headlights that are flat with the front of the car like civics, accords anything..with the exception of my cousin's integra..hers are like ours but just round, im not sure what gen that is..
Yea the set back look is cool and all, but have you ever washed your car and had a shiit load of water thrown back at you because of the headlights being concave?
i thing i will try and make them here in cyprus i'll let you know if everything works
another thing i could add to my list.... no promises, ill look into it.

Believer, you'll leave her, in leaving them allNo but I don't buy itLike anything you do, as anyone you areCause I'm...Ten Speed, of God's Blood & Burial

They make those for 240zs...I wonder if the people that made em' for the old Zs would make them for us.
