Im looking at buying the Magella 500 series GPS system and wasnt sure if anyone else here has seen or used it? Or how about a GPS for that matter?

The only question I have is do you pay monthly rates for the satelite/GPS feed or do you just buy it out right and thats it?

Those questions can probably be answered by visiting the manufacturer's website or looking up more about the product. Perhaps they will give you a choice, but from what I've seen, those products require monthly payments.

I'm not quite sure about any of that though, because I've never really been interested in buying one, and I don't have one. Good luck though.
