Decals - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #138 17 posts Started by jontechie
Haven't seen many rides on the site with decals, apart from a GT4.
Not the sort of thing I'd put on my ride. As TRDcelica99 would say,
is that "GHETTO" now over there in the US? >biggrin.gif>
car club decals are okay, and small decals representing actual products you have on your car are okay. but APC windshield strips and NOS stickers that cover half your drivers side door are, as you so elequently put it, GHETTO.

Well I have some lol. REDLINE LOL, not mine of choice but the guys outvoted me so I went ahead and put it on but its coming off and prob a big 6gc.net or celica.net is goign on. But i dont put too many. I have one that says Girlie Girl and where racing is I took it out and put TALIA so it looks sweet.
Look Like This
Girlie Girl

I just got my Celica.net sitckers in the rear windows and hopfully a 6gc.net sticker soon if i can get the idea worked out right. If I do i will let everybody know and sell them for cost + shipping. I think that if you are being sponsered by a company then your gona have there stickers but the big APC **** hell no. Some people cover there cars in them and look good or they can look bad it all depends on how you do it. I want to put a enkie sticker and maybe something else on my car when i get some more parts but I wont make it look ricy.

No >tongue.gif> I wasn't referring to your car, the car I saw was a black european GT4 with the decals near the front spoiler sides.
The decals were fairly small so didn't look too bad.
Your car is fly, I dont think it would look bad with sponsorship decals since it looks as if it was built to race, like an all terrain WRC rally car!,

Bryan, Count me in if you get it together on the 6gc.net window decal,

Jon
I would be in for a 6gc.net decal!

I have this lil decal on my car saying All4sho94ST, its on the lil window behind the driver side window, call it ghetto if you want but its better than a HUGE APC decal. No offense to anyone if they have it.
If putting something on your car makes you feel good about your ride then do it. it doesn't matter if what anyone else think looks good on your ride cause it's yours.

i think decals are alright as long as its not too overdone.......

the first car on this site is overdone......
.:HERE:.
>rolleyes.gif>
i have a windshield decal. it has the TRD emblem and celica right beside it. it is yellow and looks great on my black car.
Decals look alright as long as there semetrical and well balanced... following bodylines is always a good Idea too. I just can't stand it when people put **** on there cars that they don't have... the other day me and my roommate where out in his 03 tiburon and we pulled up next to the Civic Si that had a GREDDY sticker right above his exhaust... well his exhaust wasn't GREDDY... it was a cheap AutoZone universal muffler.... we where laughing at this guy soo hard what when the light turned green my roommate almost stalled his car... great way to start a race with a Si.. Newayz.. he blew the doors of the Si and where I'm from after you race you pull over and talk to the person you just raced... aslong as it safe too.... we clowned on this kid for about 20 mins about how he took a really good platform and just ruined it with this little bull**** sticker... a couple of days later I saw this kid driven... no sticker! looked a lot better!

i gotta agree w/ neverstop, civic SIs are tight @$$ cars, a guy i know has one, that vtech is crazy 5H!+. he says hes running low 15s and that car HAULS....

back on topic....
yea stickers and decals for the most part are pretty ghey, i had a "wings west" sticker on mine right after getting my spoiler (yes, it was from wings west >tongue.gif> ). it started bothering me so i took it off. i also had my stock pinstripe, it began to bother me also... gone. and now i have my "team ioxus" (my team >smile.gif> ) sticker in the rear side windows, ive contimplated taking that off too, but i reason with myself that its because im representing the team so i should leave it on, so its still there. anything bigger would send me through the roof! my bats T1 kit is temporary till i make the fiberglass taillight cover. im sure they will eventually peel off from the winter ( >rolleyes.gif> i hope >frown.gif> )

Believer, you'll leave her, in leaving them allNo but I don't buy itLike anything you do, as anyone you areCause I'm...Ten Speed, of God's Blood & Burial
