I do! I do! >biggrin.gif>
My "special friend", the same one whom drove my little red beauty into a fire hydrant, was using my on-deck cigarette lighter, anaware of the fact that it shoots out of the dash like a bullet when lit. Thus I now have a burn hole the size of a quarter in my shifter bootie...
If you do happen to master the art of shift-boot making, let me know, and I will send you my old one if you need to use the wire frame (the one that clips into the console). Gracias!
i could really use one to, if it works out let me know.
thanks
steeze biter. i had my mom make me this one.

I want to put a new one on my Celi as it seems as if no one wants to buy it. Since it's an automatic it doesn't have one right now but is there a way to make and install one on it?

If I bought and sent you the material could you make one for me?I want to use a clear silicone type material,so I can put a neon under the armrest which would light the shifter boot up at night.
I would love one in blue pleather or leather I don't care!

Okay, I read this and decided I couldnt wait for someone else to do it, so i made my mum do it for me... lol, I took the old shift boot off and traces the templates, then she sewed them together and to the frame, looks very nice, took no more than 20 minutes. >smile.gif> im gonna have to get her to make me a shorter one though, for my short shifter... >tongue.gif>

I would be down for a boot if you started making some.
I would be interested in a new boot if you started to produce them.

Its not that hard, if you can get hold a sewing machine and like a sewing head that has one side (to sew onto the wire frame), all i did was take the old boot apart and used it as a basic template, although I changed mine a little, made it custom.. somehow.. >tongue.gif>) but yeah all up, including unstitching it all, took max. 30 minutes. Material cost me AU$6 (umm around US$4) for 100x50cm.. i used up like 1/5 of that at the most. I'm thinking of making a few more, different colours, so I can change them with my mood lol >biggrin.gif>
yea i didn't take mine completel apart just to take templet of one side and extended it .. something my mother showed me how to do.. and yea there are at least 3 sewing machines in the house... with a bunch of diffrenet heads for all types of stuff ..

lol my old one was all worn and had a few holes in it, so I didnt really see the harm in taking it apart. >smile.gif> good luck with your ones, post pics when you make them!
yea mine has a few holes in it also that i patched up...but just didn't feel like talking it apart.. when you can get the shape from just folding the edges... but that glue at the top was a pain.... and thanks i sure will take pics of it... i'm going to try out a few other styles ... i'll have pics up this weekend if i get around a computer..
