Here are a couple pics folks....hot off the presses. As you can see, the engine is in but much remains to be completed like intercooler piping, wiring, etc., etc.

Looking real nice man, let us know how she feels after she's all done ( handling, traction, power)
me and my bro are still deciding if we should get a 3s in the 94gt or get rid of her and get a 97 Cobra. tough decision lol.
Anthony.
Lookin' good! Is there an estimation as to when it's supposed to be done?
New Toyota project coming soon...
Estimated date of completion is still up in the air. I am hoping mid-August but you never know what you are going to run into.

The difference is that you have the knowledge, let alone patience, to do it yourself Lagos. I cannot tell you how much I respect not only the skills required to do this swap but also the balls of a non-mechanic who tackles this project without relevant experience. I am just paying someone - thats easy.

Nah. Nothing is difficult when all you have to do is whip out more cash. Seriously, though, my mechanic said its pretty easy. There is a new mount for the tranny but otherwise straight forward. There are a couple threads that I posted in on here that have "how to's" for the MR2T transmission swap. If you run a search on the term "E-153" you will find them.

excellent. I think it would be a great resource for the swappers. Also, part of the information is in a link to celica3sgte's website. I would suggest that you copy the information and pictures if you make it a sticky. That way, if the website is every changed, the sticky won't have bad info.
