wow me being the cheap ass i am im gonna just make the thing i guess lol... does it have ne fancy way of mountin onto the hatchback or is it just bolted?
What's this look like? I'm unfamiliar. Any purpose?
This would be a nice lil project for somebody that wants to learn to fiberglass. I dont think it'd be that hard.

how do they mount it onto the hatchback tho... strong glue type stuff? screws? pls help so i can determine how to finish off the ends.. ill make this tommarow i think
Im going to guess bolted.. With the force that will be pulling on it, I dont think glue or anything would help.. I think it would be a fun lil projet though. I might also look into this.. cause ive been wanting one, but not wanting to spend money on it.

How exactly do you plan on starting this.. like making a modle out of cardboard or somthing?

wow thanks for the nice comment 97celica... when exactly did i ask for ur input? u being responsable really makes me want to spend that 575 dollars on a body kit from you, coomer would u mind deleting his post, there really is no need for that cluttering up this thread, thanks
o yea digndoug, if it turns out good ill sell you one if u would like. a heck of a lot cheaper than what booster would be selling.
Like i said, Im not going to buy one, .. new or made.. I have worked with fiberglass for at least 5 years.. boats an eveyrhting. I dont htink it will be close to a prob for me.. I think im going to first work on my sub box, if my amp ever gets fixed right.. damn bestbuy
ok, well since u have experience working with it maybe u could answer a few of my questoins, how many layers would be good do u think, also should the middle be hollow or will it not be much heavier with middle filled
It all depends on how you go about making it.. If possible, I would say make it hollow. It would be pretty heavy if it were solid, depending on how you thick you made it as well. I would say make it about an inch thick, an make it hollow, but that would take some working with, to do that. Ive never made anything really like this , so im not really sure.
Damdirtyapes...lol...weird name, but if you do decide to make one, and if it comes out really good, i'll buy one from u as long as u sell it cheap.

That turned out about like my fiberglass back seat area. I just kinda decided it would be way too much work and too much $ spent on supplies, so I gave up after spending 3 days working on it.

Ha what did i miss.. Did you try anything besides foam?? I would sugest using cardboard but be carful or plastic..
if ya still want to make it i can give you a easy walk through. i think i will make this in about a week since my other project is comming to a close
