I'm just now getting into the BEAMS engine. This thing is super sweet, and from what I've read on other posts, is a great engine. What all is needed if I would buy...say...this one? Would it even fit in the ST? What mods need to be done? Do I need a new tranny? I'd like to keep it a manual, but I read that manual BEAMS are extremely rare. My Celica is getting up there in miles (160K), so I'm going to start looking at swaps to do in the next couple of years or so. I will NEVER sell my Celica! Bwahaha!

I guess the real question is...what all do I need besides the engine itself?

since you have an st you will have to get new motor mounts

but its a little strange, that one on ebay, claims the turbo is very clean

what turbo?
I don't think those came turbocharged, and a turbo is not listed in the parts that come with the engine.

you will also have to rewire the harness, which sucks, mike can help you with that for a price if he's still doing it. you'll also of course need a new exhaust
