OHIO MEET - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #14905 31 posts Started by Akimbo
Who would be down for this? I hoped to have an end of summer-ish, early September Ohio 6GC meet. Anyone? I'd really love to have one.

Sounds good! What part of ohio? Early September would be good for me.
Haven't decided when and where quite yet.

Maybe if someone else has some organizing ideas?

im down for an ohio meet if its not like in cincinatti or ne thing how about toward the end of october at HIN at the i-x center in cleveland?? just a suggestion but i hope there is a meet great idea akimbo
Im going to HIN on the 9th at the I-X theater for sure, sounds like a blast. But I'm thinking a little earlier than that. I'm located in Tiffin, Ohio area code 44883. Cbus is the center of it all....how far is everyone from Columbus? Heck, I'm sure I could hold a meet even at my house...or somewhere in my town. It's easy to get to from anywhere....how far is everyone away from 44883 and Columbus?

id be interested... id have to wait and see where and when, early september is a down time at work... so it may be possable.

columbus is about 4 1/2 hour drive from where i live.

things to think about for planning:
Meeting place
Activities (where to drive, what to do)
hotels
Food

anything you guys can think of?

Well if need be I can shack some people up here in sleeping bags/ mattreses. I don't think that its that worth it to spend cash on a hotel, unless people would rather do that. I don't care where we meet, not anywhere in the extremes of Ohio. Someplace where maybe we can BBQ (I can't cook), Cruise some nice areas...take photos. I'd probably give away 6gc.net stickers as well. Anyone else?

No not at all around here. But I can hold it here in my park. It'd be nice IMO...it's a big oval..15mph zone. Quiet, I have a lot in mind to hold it at. But I don't know. Let's keep throwing out ideas.

Is anybody still interested in an OH/PA meet in September?
I was thinking of having a meet in my hometown at a park here. Except there isn't really any cruising roads besides the normal roads in my town. Nothing too twisty or exciting. Anyone got ideas?

Anyone have any ideas to hold this meet at? I want plenty of cars coming! Like at least 10 Celi's would be nice!

Thats a good akimbo.. keep this thing going!

Maybe try a state park or a larger park. Try to find the location of everyone who plans on goin and figure out a place that is pretty much center of that. so no one has to drive HELLA far.

Also keep in mind the other meets and things like that.

Let me know also.. might swing up to this meet if its in october.. celi is gonna be a little torn apart this month gettin ready for the midwest meet so Sept is out for me but the middle or late October works fine for me.. just not over holloween weekend >wink.gif>
