Does anyone have XM radio? What do you think? Im thinking of getting it but not sure. Does anyone have the delphi unit?????

i think your a little confused. XM and sirius are two different things. two different services. XM radio is one service, and Sirius is another service. They're both satellite radio, but from different providers. The delphi unit is a satellite radio tuner. Don't know much about the tuners, but i work at a best buy, and the general concenseus is that sirius is alot better than XM...

i dont have personal experience with either, but i heard unless you want all the sports coverage that serius has contracts with (apparently stuff with the NFL and NBA and maybe more) that XM has a better variety of programming and much better support.

everyone ive talked to said satallite radio is most definatly worth it.

have had customers complain about it being repetetive no complaints yet


hardware wise, i think XM's hardware is better. right now you can buy a roady 2(built in FM mod, all mounting hardware, built in stock ticker, etc, etc.) for 129.99 and then u get a mail in rebate for a free home kit

but sirus u get a free sports duffel bag!
sirius is also in the future planing to put out streaming video chanells for mobile video's etc.

look at my profile, i got xm. With xm my antenna is about the size of a credit card and is wired to go up to my roof, u can hardly notice it, but when u have sirus you get this ugly long antenna thing that just looks nasty. Also i havent once lost signal and never have a problem finding a song i like.btw 100 bucks for the unit, 100 for the car kit and 50 for the install. Hope this helps.
