ok im new to this forum. I have a red 96 celica ST hatchback. I need some input on how to make my car faster without spending an excessive amount of money. I already have plans of getting intake. So what are some things i can do that would help me out for hp gains. thanks

well if u want hp for cheap....i guess u have to go EBAY shoppin...cheap intake there for less the price and they also have hotwire to gain u hp...parts for less and they do the same thing the others does..nothing diff...just cheaper thats all >>


intake and hotwires ,exhaust will do.
u willl get all that less then 150 on ebay...

i think a couple of people have turbo'ed there GT's with under $1k

i think he want it cheap....not to be mean or anything.....turbo under 1g sound kinda funny....some member told me cost 2g somthing...i dont know bout the 1g turbo...welll just sayin..if u dont want to waste alot of money ..check it out on ebay and get wat u needed..if u think of turbo...u thinkin of puttin a 1g more in for the install..

theres not much out there thats going to give u power gain besides a turbo or a swap. and those are quite pricey

go with wires, plugs, and if you want an extra 10 hp or more.. take out the A/C and get and new belt from toyota.. for a 7a with out the A?C .. put 93 otcan gas in there .. and get new ground wires.. those also help.. you can also try making your car lighter....

no im almost possible atleast 3 people on this site alone have done it for around or under $1k but thats just the basic's from a doner 3SGTE and/or 7MGTE and 7MGE<for injectors and possible some aftermarket parts......
