Rotor Price front and rear? - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #15632 12 posts Started by coustoe
I've been looking all over the net for just plain rotors, not drilled or slotted. but the ones I find are even more expensive then the drilled or slotted rotors like $50 for 1 rotor!!!

anyone know where I can get these cheap?

Thanks
That's about right for the OEM rotors. I bought mine on line for $86 for 2. Ill try and find a site for you.
ahhh this sucks, might as well get cross drilled slotted, even though they suck, be cheaper.
arent the cross drilled and slotted ones supposed to be b etter for stoping?
you wont really see the differance in performance with the drilled/slotted, they are mainly for competition. if you go to car quest, the front rotors for a gt are $25, autozone wants 50 a piece, or 98 a piece for ones with the warranty.

with the drilled/slotted, you will need to buy ceramic pads, $39 at autozone(for the front pair)

be sure to replace the pads and rotors at the same time

cross drilled and slotted <<<bad or good??
bought all four rotors, front and back for $89 total. try napa auto parts, they have everything
nice ill check out napa
you can also check out nopi
cross drilled/slotted = good; but you have to wear them in for 100 miles before they get better; too many holes or slots = bad
Napa.. I paid like 37.50 for 2 front ones.. I was amazed.. Seeing as be4 hand i went to Advance Auto Parts and paid 120 for 2 front rotors.. I went right back and returned them and went to NAPA.. And they work great >biggrin.gif>
about 1 month ago i got 2 front and 2 rear brembo cross drilled zinc plated and chamferd rotors with axiss metal master brake pads for about 350 shipped havent had a problem with them yet other than squeaky brakes...... >frown.gif> ........ they painted the hub part to so it doesnt get all rusty and nasty like....took about 1 hour to change all 4 with pads....ebay
