My car is obviously black. If I picked up a carbon fiber hood, would the finish clash with my gloss black paint job or look good? I am having a difficult time imagining it. Pics would be great if you guys have any that show good detail.

i like the carbon fiber on black look.......thats what i'm goin to do get a carbonfiber hood maybe, since my hood is ding up like nobody's business

I have a pearlized black Celica and am most likely doing the Invader CF hood.

i MIGHT.... big might, cuz it more than likely wont happen... but i want to get a CF invader hood and paint it white... cuz my cars gonna be white, and i dont like black hoods on white cars... just not my cup of tea....

black hood on white car= SHIZZZZNIT
painting = good idea
carbonfiber= good shizzzznit
fitment = EH it doesn't always fit good which means you compromise the look

My friend has a c/f hood on his black probe. You can hardly even notice that its a c/f hood unless ur up close. IMO, c/f hood on a black car doesnt look as good.

If you match it up with some other carbon fiber accents it will look hot. Myabe some splitters or carbon fiber wing. I think black and carbon fiber compliment each other just fine.

Basides CF is a heel of alot lighter than a OEM hood so despite opinion on looks it still is a respectable upgrade.

yellow, silver and blue cars look best with carbon fiber on their cars...thats just my opinion though.
