Has anyone preformed an AWD conversion? I am debating on FWD MR2 tranny or AWD? Does the rear subframe bolt right up to a factory st frame? Give me some feedback from those who have preformed this swap. thanks lance >>

you would have to do so much to your car, it would cost so much money. not worth it from what iv heard. the gt-4 has different welds that provide greater strength. you would have to redo the whole frame basically. in other words, its not going to happen unless you got mucho dinero

Okay I've searched and searched. I didn't know that converting to awd has been such an issue. I can't belive we have guys that have done complete motor swaps wiring, etc and no one has sucessfuly done and AWD conversion. I am going to try it anyway. Even with the lack of info. In one of the posts neverstop said he "did" one. what happened after he hit 120? keep you posted. Much thanks for the posts from some. Lantz
