whoa!! ive been looking for this thread, thanks for bumping it =)
it should work, I guess. Try it out, it won't hurt anything. let the others on here know if it works. I'm sure someone would want to know.
>
> No problem. Bump. Lol. Just in case anyone else missed it. I'm going to try it if I could get the bolts off the back of the tails. Lol. They're stuck! I tightened them too much and ruined the thread.
I thought bout it but the curren tails are harder to get in case you screw up.

Hi, could you clarify two things for me?
First, are two diods needed - one for wires and one for relay?
Second, what happens to the fog light when you do that mod? Do they work normally?
Some pics of the setup would be great!!!

you have to connect the white/green wire(stop light) to the black/red wire(rear for) using a diod, do you also put a diod between relais and rear fog light

No it doesn't! Red is perfectly legal for the rear turn signal lights. I'd suggest you look up your local state/city's ordinance though.
All of my bulbs were 7440/7443, not 1156/1157. You must have used the USDM bulbs and harness.
If that's the case I'd use these:

It's OK Dustin. Red is fine in your state:

I have an easy job, with lots of free time to prove dumb punks wrong. Don't say something unless you know it's true. Saying that your rear turn signals have to be amber is the dumbest sh!t I've heard. Look at all the other cars out there that only have red signals. Did they come from the factory illegal?
/yourself
JDM tails aren't approved by the DOT anyway.
