FS: 7A turbo and manifold - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #16108 14 posts Started by DustyBurns30
- i have an air research t3 turbo for sale. i bought it used off of ebay, it looks to be in good condition (never hooked it up). there doesn't seem to be any shaft play. the only negative to this turbo is the bolts on the flange don't match up with the bolts on the header flange. i think this could be cured by drilling new holes or welding the turbo to the header.

- i also have a jgs tools manifold with t3 flange. it's brand new, and i bought it with an oil inlet flange, 36" oil feed line steel braided, and an 18" oil return line w/ flange.

*Pricing*

Turbo - $225 plus shipping
Header - $245 plus shipping ($5 less than jgs)
Oil Lines - $80 plus shipping ($2 less than jgs)

Everything - $525 plus shipping

I can post pics if someone needs them.

thanks,
dustin

edit: i know that the jgs items aren't much of a discount but they are all brand new and you don't have to wait the three weeks for them to make the header and ship it like i did.

will the headers line up with the st motor?
yeah, it's made for the st (7a-fe) motor. it's your only option for a turbo header other than going custom which will cost a lot more than $245.
Well if u really want to get rid of it i will pay 350 for the header and turbor just cuz i dont like the fact of buying a used turbo...i know its kinda lowballing so if u want to get rid of it im here
gonna have to come up with a lot more than $350. have you checked prices for a brand new t3? not cheap.

thanks anyways.
like i said if u just want to get rid of it to a fellow celica guy ill take
I have a 96 ST.. i dont have turbo but would just the headers work with my engine?
can u post a picture of the t3 and header please
You guys better rip that turbo manifold off his hands. That's a dirt cheap price. Mine was like $412 shipped from JGS...with ceramic coating and external wastegate flange. You're getting quality there...Lance really takes serious the job. Of all my engine parts, the manifold gets the most compliments. People are not used to seeing something that professional looking. They're used to the long tube ones that are welded and look homemade. Even the HKS ones look cheap compared to that JGS one. I'm just saying this so you guys save money...that price is a steal and you'll never get a turbo manifold at that price. >smile.gif>

on the header there seems to be a hairline crack...can you disprove that? I might be interested..but, I have my own turbo.
this header has never been used, i bought it directly from jgs tools. so there is no crack, but what part of the header are you talking about and i will try to get you a close up of the area in question.
