I just received my carbon fiber center wing from chrisc and there is a haze on most parts of the wing...especially on the edges...I tried waxing it but that doesnt get rid of it...Its almost like Im gonna have to go at it with some polishing compound or wetsanding...because right now it wont look good on the car...Did anyone else have this problem...Someone please help...do I take it to a body shop or do I try to do it myself?...Thanks Rob

i have no clue what to do, but im thinking of finding a place that can make a replica of the replica(center only)
and remake it...prob be like $100, i hope, in best case they can just put another layer on >

lemme ask around on some carbon fiber forums and see if theres a solution. do you either of you guys have a picture of the problem?
bring it to a bodyshop and what they will most likely do it wet sand it and reclear coat the blade.
yeah i bought a cf hood with scratches and that stuff on their....it was for a honda civic hatch...i took it to mexico to a car place/body place...and he sanded it down all the way to the fiber and then shot some clear coat...came out like a new hood...all for 60 bucks
wonder how you know when ur at the C/F
dont want to hit the fibers n f' it all up

you dont have to sand all the way down to the carbon fiber, wet sanding should be enough.
