I am not a expert, but I dont think its a good idea. check tirerack.com or tires.com, I dont think that's a recommanded size for celi, your tires may hit your fender liner when you drive over a pot hole.
it should not affect it much.. you have to remember some people ride in 18 inch rims and you hardly hear them complain about rubbing..
i have 205/50/16's all around with tein s-tech springs...no rub...could probably put 225/50's

The 205/50-16 will fit just fine. I have those mounted on a Gen 7 GTS wheel and don't have any problems (with stock suspension). The speedo will not be affected either. Check out this site to compare tire sizes:

oops, forgot, I had 205/50/16 on my own car... >biggrin.gif> always thinking they were 205/45s...

I've got 205/55/17's on mine with no problem what so ever. Profile isn't updated with pics yet just to let ya'll know.
just curious, you got it 205/55/17 with lowered body or not? for surely not hitting anything in the wheel well?? >confused.gif>
Mine isn't lowered yet.... and I am damn sure its not hitting a thing.
