did they make a gt4 in the new body style in japan or are they going to..or did that tc jus throught the celica out the window?

No 7th Gen Celica GT-4. They did make a 4th version of the 3S-GTE that they put into the Toyota Caldina (not available in the USA). Scion Cars are intended to replace the Celica and MR2 in the US Markets
Toyota never said that Scion was to replace the Celica and MR2. They said that the Matrix XRS, the Corolla XRS, and the Solara are supposed to. But we all know that's impossible.

yeah they were pretty much condradicting each other... so either the scions or the hot **** had to go... they were stupid and stuck with the scions
its pretty simple really- Scion TC $16,400, celica with same equippment, $21,000. You do the math and see who will sell better...

As with some major companies, they decided to stop production of turbo cars and just make rally cars from scratch when needed. (this does not apply for Evos and WRX as the selling policy of these companies rely on their sports cars)
celica handles better though. but the tc does look tight. and with our new rap/pop culture no one really wants a sports cars. they just want bling. im not gonna lie a black tc on 19"s would be tight. but id rather be driving a 7th gen gt4 with like 350 to the wheels and no vvti crap!!!. that would be soooo tight. foward this post to toyota please lol....
There is no 7th gen GT4 as the other guys said but when you mention a 7GC GT4 my mind goes direct to ULTIMATE CELICA.

I think the power this car is producing is awesome and the mods made to it.....but, the look of the car is horrific. I hate the front especially of that car could've been done better
the 7th gen isnt all that bad. but um im glad they didnt make it casue then i would lose big time, to a really super fast car .and so would all the other crap toyotas been making lately. booo for scion yea for celi..
