hmm mapquest tells me 930 miles and 14 hours of driving. >> plus i suck with directions.I would need to meet someone on the way up. Anyone from the south going?

As of right now, we're looking into to both a dragstrip and a road course. Plus a dyno. We'll keep you posted on it as more info surfaces.

Zach, If you'd like to organize a mini meet from the south to caravan up here, by all means do it.

sweet i just got back from the drag stip 18.7 i ****in rock hahahah. wtf!!! my celi is slow. but i can handle pretty well!. anyway i 3rd the motion for running on the road course!.

so i'm confused... what were the dates being thrown out? i may be down to roll thru (cali peeps should meet up somewhere and roll to the east).

15th through the 17th is to short! can we do it like a day or to longer? like 14 thorugh the 18th. its a long haul for me and others to go there and 4 days seems a good time. i dunno maybe im crazy. if i am crazy dont tell me lol.

It is a possibility and you bring up a good point about that being a short time to be here for the drive some may have to go.

Matt and I can talk about it a little bit, it would mean more planning of events. We'll see what we can do about this.

I'm open to maybe adding an extra day.. it's really up to the people that come.. but we would really have to figure something out for that extra day... Maybe the roadcourse thing or maybe hit up JCwhitney if neone wanted parts etc or maybe both cuz its prolly on the way, it would be a little bit of drive there but prolly worth it.. dunno we can figure this out >>

Is there a track around there that we could fart around on?

Dragstrip, yes.

Road Course in part of the events as well. Its in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin (about a 4 hour drive). Its the American Le Mans weekend up there and everyday for an hour (usually the lunch hour) the track is opened up to the fans (gotta pay $50) to run on. Its pretty cool to see and last year I didn't have my celica with me so I didn't go. But I really wanted to!

Neverstop might know of another road course that he is looking into to see if we can get on it or not...
