well why dont you go buy a brembo set of brakes for a gt. and try and fit them on your st. opps wont work. tried it and so did others.
numberous people spent $1200 on a guess?
hope it was worth the try.

unless you're talking about just pads? or rotors?

ehh im done. buy a big brake for the gt see what happens.
find SpeedToe and contact him about this to find out more...that's my advice, as i see him as the god of suspension >smile.gif>
I thought the only difference between the two was the size of the backing plate. When I did my st to GT conversion the junkyard gave me the whole spindle all i used was the backing plate and all the GT stuff bolted right on no problem.
mMmmm.. big brake kit... *drools*

is there anyway to increase braking without a big brake kit. when i had my gt i could hit the brakes really hard about 3 times (not locking them up) just to heat them up. and they would get so hot in just those 3 hard brakings that i couldnt even lock them up at all after that no matter how hard i tried.

any suggestions.

oh yeah buy the big brake kit ill bet its awesome. is ti made by TRD.

when you apply pressure to them, they dont expand. (like the rubber ones.)

with the rubber, you stomp the brake, and they expand a bit because of the pressure. Steel braided doesn't do that. >smile.gif>
are they as reliable though...

Most big brake kits are front only. Big brakes in the front and the GT brakes in the rear is all that 99% of us would ever need.

I was shooting the breeze with some WRX guys and they said that with a brembo kit you need new special brake fluid and a few other things?
can the lines rust >tongue.gif>
like, do you need to be able to replace to where they are not intended for winter or anything at all
