most I have read about use the 924 cam belt...
I FOUND a 86 mr2 N/A...4AGE..BLUE TOP head.....comes complete with harness and ecu.. ...for $170 would it be a price to pay??... is it worth to built the 4age blue top head....and putting it on the stock 7afe block..???? and aslo the wiring..is it hard to connet . .??? and is it drive-able?? ...........need help..quickly..............???
the blue top wasnt really a power maker. if your going for it you should go all out a find a mapped black top.

Former: 96 GT 5 speed(i/p/e)Fate-rear ended by mack truck00 GTS 6 speed(i/ Bored TB 63mm - 68.5mm w/ butterfly/ Ported IM/ IMG/ PFC/ Commander/ datalogit/ Ported & heat wrapped Header/ Decat/ UEGO/)193FWHP 14.2(1/4mi) @98mph, 2.12 60ft (just intake, unbolted Exhaust, and gutted)Fate-side swipped by 18 wheeler at 75mph.Next: maybe an elise
so your saying that even i built the 4age blue top...its not really worth it.....and u say i should go with black top...which its hellllllla $$$$$$$$$$$..just for the complete 4age 20v head..........so its better to go cheap the $$$$$ when its almost the same..??? so is it worth building 4age blue top..it????? i heard ....Horsepower, then go will the BLUE TOP[/URL] http://www.toyotacelicaonline.com/celica1/7ahybrid.htm

As I mentioned in your other thread, (by the way, you really should stick to one...), the bluetop is the oldest of the 4AGEs. Personally, I would not go through the trouble of a 7AGE with the bluetop. You can get a silvertop or blacktop head off eBay for a decent price, just be patient. You could also try posting a WTB ad at www.club4ag.com

I presently have a 7agte in my celica with blue top. I use the ae86 ecu (afm) and wiring with bad result (not compatible with e-manage) ... I will update this winter for an 4agze ecu (map dli setup). Even if you go n/a (with the red top) , to have the full potential of the hybrid you have to go piggy back or stand alone to change the timming/injection curves and it`s impossible with the sucking afm.
