my heater core broke on my 95gt and i have no idea on how to fix this. reason being i took apart my hole dash and still could not get to it. i bought a new heater core and everything for it. next on my list is to get a manual for my car. does anybody out there have any experience on heater cores for our cars?????

PS: i was going to do this, but liek you said, you have to take the entire dash off, and then some...have you checked your thermostat? and yeah, to get everything off correctly, and back on, it would be very wise to get the Toyota Genuine book. not just a Chilton's...

I tried to do it on my car. Ripped out the whole dash then said F it, and took it to the dealership. Own owned for a grand. good luck

maybe try taking EVERYTHING apart, it will take time but it will eventually work

yeah takes guys for the info i took the whole dash apart its a pain in the ass. toyota is gooding to charge me 323 to install it so i was like if i cant do it it would be that bad. the heater core cost 300 brand new. i bought a used for 25 bucks i going to find out what they think. new or used? ill find out tomorrow. thanks guys
