kool the shop itself is actually in fleetwood PA but thats right in the hershey/philly/reading area...

EDIT, that doorpiece is a good idea too... ill add that to my list of things to look into.

Do those lights actually light up on your car? They don't on mine and there aren't even any bulbs behind there.

i think they are reflectors, so it may not be possable but its worth looking into

yours don't light up? mine definetly light up, and I can see the bulb in one of them cause the lense is cracked.

Yeah, they light up......ive often thought about trying to make clear ones.....Good suggestion gh0st >>
This is cool, we could get decent ammounts of goodies made for us by us >> I like the idea of the clear door light covers, the JDM extensions, and clear 94-5 turn signals, and the emblems. Its all cool little stuff that would really accent our cars, and that aftermarket companies would never think of making for us.

the emblems are in the works as we speak >> and ya, its the little accent things that really bring a car togeather, they may not be what stand out to someone when they glance at a car, but they give a fully completed feel to it, then again, sometimes it is the little things that stand out and people remember >>

Make sure the emblums can be bent to fit the body contours. Also, PLEASE make the extensions fit the coupe also. I would think they would be no different than a Hatch. The coupe is just wider, the body contours are about the same.

Also, you ever think of making CF or aluminum door sills? You know make um say 'Celica' or even have a dragon on em.

i havent but that wouldnt be too hard, i could just make the mold from the stock ones and fill it with a different material... thanks for all the awsome ideas!

HAHA yea, definatly not getting ahead of ourselves, but its cool cuz whenever i need new ideas i can always come back to this thread.

also there was already a GB for some diamond plated floor mats charlie was involved, ask him for the info on them.

as far as i know things are progressing, i talked to my grandparents last weekend and sent them the dragon emblem diagram along with the dimensions so they said they would get on it as soon as they have time and said they would have a test product for me in 1-3 weeks so its progessing >> ill keep you updated.

yes yes i know about the emblems needing to be slightly contoured, the first set they send me i will heat up and contour and send back so he can adjust the mold.

Oh well, i talked to one of my friends last night who's into trucks, and theres a place nearby that specializes in 4x4 stuff and makes diamond plate trim for trucks....i think i can get them made up there >>

ill probably just make em and you guys are on your own as far as paint, i figure it would work better that way b/c you can color match your paint jobs better than i'd be able to and those with custom paintjobs would be SOL if they came prepainted

That's probably the best way to do it. I really hope that you can find someone with a coupe to help with making some of those rear bumper extensions for us coupe owners, because I really want some of those! >>

actually the toyota "taurus emblem would probably be easier to make than the celica dragon, but it seems that the dragon is much more popular... so i donno i may still make the taurus ones but im not sure yet...
