i just thought i would tell you guys whats going on with my 3sgte swap.
i ordered the engine on june 12, i was originaly supposed to recieve it on July 2 after getting told they had problems or got busy or it got delayed in shipping i finally recieved a 3sgte on august 16. unfortunately it didn't have any of the stuff i needed in order to do the swap even though i paid for it. so i refused the order. then after much more waiting i was just checking around and called up jazz pro parts.com and discovered that they are the co that shipped the first one and had another one on order by renewed import and it was just a plain jane 3sgte aswell, no extras were ever ordered by renewed import on the first or second engine. so i called up renewed import and told them i just wanted my money back after much waiting they tell me tonight that they have decided they are going to refund me $1200.
well does anyone remember how much i paid, well incase you don't let me remind you, $2800

so now i have to involve a lawyer which i didn't want to do but i don't have much of a choice.

i would like for somene pretty far from my location like in cali or something to call them up and ask for MR2 3sgte w/lsd tranny and uncut harness, just find out if they have one in stock and and see what they say and much they would charge. but DO NOT order because they don't have one no matter what they say. they would order one though someone else and it probably will not have what you asked for.

you have to be carefull when ordering an engine or a clip. best thing to do it to put it on a credit card. that way you can claim fraud of the company fails to deliver the goods.

i got my whole front clip for 1800$ plus shipping. i dont see how just the engine and parts cost you 2800$.

if i could have found a Mr2 clip for 1800 i would have jumped on that in a heart beat. mine was 2300 w/o shipping

Just keep your eyes peeled.. be ready to wait a couple months for the right deal to come by. I waited 4 months with money in hand before I choose my clip... you just have to be careful. Good luck with that though man... hope it goes well for you.

why did you want an mr2 clip? its a lot harder to swap from an mr2 to a celica.
