What the heck are you talking about dude.  You havn't provided any information at all.  No one has heard of you before, and basically, the real problem is, if you wanted me to pass on information about your supercharger just this instance, i would feel so dumb, dumb to the point of drulling.  You are playing grab ass with us.  You came on our forums, not the other way around, so F*U*C*K off

Do you act this way to everybody who tries to develop aftermarket for your car?
From the little that I have seen this guy knows what he is talking about. Being able to custom fab parts to make a supercharger kit isnt something anyone can do. Keep talking boosted... I'm not a potential buyer but I'm interested.

How are supporting fuel mods going to go with this kit? Bigger injectors of course... FPR? Bigger pump?
dont be so negative spunky.... calm down and wait to see what happens... this isnt something to get so worked up about

if it fails then it fails, until then wait to see what happens or you will be the one being laughed at for making dumb comments

Are you goign to tell us a story Mr. E, or were you just throwing that out there.  Sound's interesting

What's to tell. Custom supercharger job on both.

The gentleman concerned has sucessfully supercharged both the 1ZZ and 2ZZ to good effect.

Here's the 140 (1zz)

That is a beautiful and simple kit there. Is that your car? Looks very nice. If the cost of centrif. blowers were not so high I would go this route in a heartbeat.
Outstanding idea. Mostly because customers would be allowed to purchase piece by piece. Blowers, ICs, piggybacks are all pretty much universal. Its the fitting and mounting hardware that's usually tricky for the average enthusiast! Keep us updated.

By the way, why would you prefer a centri blower? I was thinking id go with posdis to match the 5S characteristics. Plus I like the thrashy whine they make. =) The Eaton you are planning to use is a positive displacement type, correct?

Yes sir. That is my idea. Years ago when building up street cars I was forced to buy kits and prefabbed parts which were expensive and required you to buy EVERYTHING whether you needed it or not. Now that I have a shop full of equipment (TIG/MIG welders, plasma cutters, grinders, every saw and air tool etc...) I can create the stuff I wished others would create long ago. You see eye to eye with me.

I like the centrif. blowers because they are true compressors, they are lighter, smaller, have less parasitic loss and create less heat. Yes, the Eaton is a positive displacement blower. Very similar to a twin screw but is actually a roots blower.

Hey, your from Central Valley? I used to go up there every year to fish Lake Shasta and Lake Trinity. I lived in San Jose, California for almost 20 years before I moved to Texas, then Arizona, then to where I live now in Washington.

Nah. I have a turbo.

This belonged to someone else who charged a 1ZZ. Then decided he wanted more power, so swapped the 1ZZ for a 2ZZ, and S/C'd that. Then added nitrous to that, stripped the thing out and turned it into a track car.

It was, all things considered, bloody fast.

Simon has also sucessfully supercharged a 3S-GE. Basically, if you want a quality job, this is the gentleman to talk to.

Not cheap, however. But quality rarely is.

His track celica was sold recently, and he bought a 3000 GTO TT. Which he blew up about 3 days later. >frown.gif>

JDM ST205Blitz Spec NUR Exhaust, somewhere over $1000Needing another one 18000 miles later, bloody annoying.
LOL, my kind of guy!

Yeah, I've been here all my life. Good place to be! Some nice roads if you know where to look. =)

I don't own a Celica currently but I'm considering one as a basis for lite tuned daily driver / canyon runner. My main concern with the vehicle is that although I don't think it would take alot more power to balance the chassis, the 5SFE appears pretty much hopeless on paper.

I've already decided that a swap is out of the question. I would prefer to do some NA tuning but it's just doesn't seem to be cost effective on this motor. The next consideration would be to knock together a low pressure turbo system which was looking promising.

Your kit sounds like it might be a good solution though. I realize others here are probably looking for more but I think the car needs another 30-40hp to the ground spread as far over the rev range as possible. The stock torque curve of the 5SFE is actually pretty favorable for bombing ridges, but the chassis is capable in my eyes and could effectivly lay down about 30-50 more hp, imho. Also since I'd be operating at elevated RPMs for substantial periods (15 minutes to an hour at a time) I would feel alot more comfortable running 6 pounds of manifold pressure or less. I plan on finding a lower mileage engine and I'll be keeping stock internals. They don't lok like they're good for much more than that anyhow. I could be wrong.

Not to mention it would bel a hell of alot easier to tune! I think you should hit up some Camry and MR2 sites when this gets further along. Alot of people should be on board. Don't be discouraged by newbs demanding 100 hp gains, either! They probably don't know what to do with the 130 they have! =D
The chassis can handle 178bhp, as that's what the rest of the world got as stock.

Beams lump in the SSIII gave 200bhp, but had superstrut suspension as well.

I probably should have specified but I meant adding hp and retaining a curve similar to the stock 5SFE. Which is what I estimate this setup would do.

Anyhow, how about an update!
Just waiting on some funds to collect. I just spent a large amount of money on the blower, building materials as well as a new Miller welder. (the welder is sweet. Has a 12hp generator attached to it mounted in the back of my new truck) >smile.gif>

I am flying across the country for a week or two in early december and taking care of some unfinished business back in Arizona, and then i'll be back and I expect some good progess in early January and maybe a complete kit in mid-late January. No promises.
Wow, No posts since November? Boost, are you still making this supercharger? I am interested, but it looks like you may have lost all interest. I tell you what, with what I have seen on this site, don't ask if any one is interested until at least your first one is done, dyno tested, and you have ample pictures. It seems like every one on here bitches about not having parts and when some one comes in to try and help us out, we have a few know it all's who want to question them and heckle them so much that they don't feal welcome. I would rather just sit back and wait for the results, when I see positive results, then I will buy. If negative results, then oh well, I just won't buy it. If your still working on this super charger, just get it all together, and put it on a dyno. If it has good results, then list every single little thing that is in your kit, and give us a price. If it is realy going to be half of the competitors price, and has dyno proven gains, then no one will have any ounce of room to talk ****. Then trust me, you will make your money. Every one in here wants more hp!
