when u guys installed your turboes did you use the turbocharger stay? its a braket that mounts the turbo assembly to the side of the block.. wanted to know if there is a per threaded hole to mount it on the 5sfe block or not

i didnt use it. the whole in the turbo where it would go had snapped bolts inside them. boo. but yeah u def dont need it.

I didn't use it when I mounted the turbo also.

well I figured most people didn't use it but was wondering if either of you noticed the mounting point on the 5sfe for it? I would like to use the stay if I can... I mean hell toyota put it there for a reason... but im not gonna tapinto the 5sfe block either to mount it.... I'll just look on my 5sfe block tonight to see if its there.
