Have you guys ever wondered if your car is on some random website. Or if somebody else says your car is their car. A cool thing would be if a company advertises a product and uses your car to show off the product. Just something I thought about since seeing ST205's car on ebay and his engine bay on Online Showoff.

I've seen other members' cars used numerous times by other members on the site(anyone remember Matt? >>), eBay, VIS, etc.

I've also seen people rip off the site and steal information and sell it word for word on eBay...man that made me sooooo mad.

my friend with an orange new celica was used without permission to advertise a wide body kit in magazines he repeatedly wrote them letters but they kept doing it - he finally called and hasnt seen it since

i just want to post on those guy's profiles and tell them thats not their car

just look up supras on ebay motors. there is a guy on their i have talked to that has a burnt orange supra with vertical doors that someone is selling for $100. lol, it keeps getting posted even tho he tells ebay that someone is scaming.

That is illegal to do without permission. Essencially, you can bring that person to court.
