Yep, I just asked my girl to marry me. I went to see her at work for her lunch but she didn't know I was coming. She thought I was supposed to work but my boss gave everyone the rest of the week off. I took her to get some food and then I took her to a park. I was gonna have her close her eyes and take her to the swings but it's still wet out from the rains. So instead I took her as close as I could, pulled out the video camera, bent down on the 'ol knee and popped the question. She spazzed and yanked the ring from me and put it on before I finished asking the question.

We don't know date yet but it will be sometime next year after we're both out of college.

Congrats.. but, being engaged isn't as great as one would think. It's supposed to mean committing yourself even more than you have been, being truthful, etc. Some people do not believe in the extra commitment and just take it as just any ol' ring.
