i thought it was about a 3/10 to install if you have any car know how you should be able to do it

trd is probably a little easier to install but twm is a lot shorter of a shift

TRD is crap compared to TWM i ran a gb on the TWM

differences

TWM=60* less throw
and like 160 shipped
TRD=40* less throw (thats 20* long shifts then TWM)
and cost more....

TWM is much better then TRD
plus why wouldn't you want sumthing that is cheaper AND HAS A BIGGER DECREASE IN SHIFTING

I love my twm shifter, got it through the gb w/ Daniel's help he's a pimp ask if he can help. IT wasn't too expensive either

That's just general information though. Up to 60% does not mean the sixth gen. Celica TWM shifter shortens the throw 60%. And I've heard various things about the shortening of the throw with the TRD Quickshifter.

I used a shifter from a "micro machine celica" and i noticed a big difference in the length of my shifts.... like 500% >>

Come on people, please stop posting random numbers and do some homework. Just cause a site says "up to 60%" does not mean it a 60% difference. " Companys use this talk to try to sell more products.
Here is what they do:
They take every shifter they make and use the one with the shortest throw to advertise with...... they never mention that model 12345abcd only has a 10% decrease in throw and that happens to be the one for the 94-99 celica!!!! (that model number is completly made up for any DA's out there)

They are not posting false info but they are only advertising the best situation and not telling you which model it is actually for. So you could get lucky and get the full 60% but must likely you end up with 28.673% or some random number...

Karel at TWM is a friend of mine and all I can say is the shifter for my Alltrac is top quality. It makes a huge difference. Took me a week to get used to the closeness of the gate, but it works flawlessly. Customer support is excellent.

interesting numbers i see here, but if you go on the actual TWM website, for the 94-99 celica, it says there is a 1.5" drop and a 35% throw reduction. Also, i actually have one installed in mine as well, and the drop seems quiet legit as for the throw reduction, i'm not no mathematician, but you really feel a dramatic decrease in how long your throws are.
