about 117 when the governor kicked in. I was only at around 4k rpm's so I'm guessing it could hit 130 easy. That was in my 96 vert before my exhaust and cold air intake upgrades.
HOW the ****. isnt this locked yet? This thread is boasting about Illegal activities.....Because i HIGHLY doubt everyone that has posted here did there 1xxmph speeds on a track.
edit: looking back it was started in '03...and its lasted 4 years...wow.

I hit 120 mph on my ST and my record is 187/188mph in germany. That was my bosses 1998 BMW M5 with speed limiter off and upgrades. Pretty scary, but fun. Otherwise you can go just 150mph, I think....

I hit 205 Km/hour at about 6200rpm. It would go more but it could take for ever to rev higher in 5th gear. I think the rpm limiter is at about 6700rpm.The fuel meter kept falling like hell. I run on my stock 195/65/14 wheels.
Correct me if i'm wrong, but doesn't a stand alone completely remove any restriction like this??

a stand alone will take out the gov. but since you have a 94 you can just put a switch on 1 ECU wire and it will go bye bye

like, you slow down soo fast, w/o evern trying to, at that speed.
i had the pedal all the way down, but didn't break loose.
needless to say, after coming to a stop, i smelled my brakes lol
i get soo... so much of an adrenaline rush. much more than my first race...
i love speed...
but agreed, don't do it on a public road

man now i feel bad about posting past experiences. in .most. my top speed ventures ive felt i was taking the utmost care to not put anyone other than my self in danger. abandoned roads no homes, traffic etc. but trying to attain high speeds is never a safe endevour i guess, no matter how much you try to make it so.
btw top speed was 115 held for the majority of the way to 29 Palms, CA late one night and back to phoenix, AZ before work that morning. (i won, 2 pitstops. 1/2 way there 1/2 way back.)
