thats a terrible analogy. depression isnt life threatening. people do sucessfully get through depression....

well. as much as i'd like to think that. even if they are just psychological, they work wonders. i'm gonan try to get off them again sometime soon. >

people successfully get through cancer as well. the point is, when ignored depression gets worse, even with meds the underlying issues will continue to exist. the best thing is to be pro-active and take yourself out of the situation thats causing it. I don't think you can argue with that
