i've played for 8 years..and is anyone else pissed there is no NHL season this year???

Played a long time ago when I used to live in MN... NHL... don't watch it much anyway so wouldn't hurt me. =D

I don't follow the NHL really, but I played hockey for 10 years. A lot of my very best memories from my life are from hockey, and I wish that I would've taken the invites to the junior B teams, but it's too late now. >>

I hate not being able to watch Calgary

I've played for 9 years. I'm sick of player / owner disputes. At least the AHL team here in town is playing. I wish I had more time to play these days, I only get to a drop in game every few weeks, sometimes longer.

techTV is doing a full simulation of the hockey season using NHL 2005. live updates and stats are posted on techTV's site, and they even go as far as to show "highlights" on a show aired on the station.

neat, but sad.

also, i played roller hocker for a couple years... ::shrug:: never got into the ice hockey thing...it's not the most affordable sport out there. :x.

but seriously, it sucks at work, we used to only talk hockey, ah well, at least beer companies are taking advantage of the lockout and making funny commercials >>

Talks today, hopefully they can salvage something. roomer has it that 6 teams will be gone. (Vancouver and both the florida teams are all i know about)
