Last Thursday I had sleep dentistry done to get teeth pulled. The dentist gave me a total of five pills to stick under my tongue to dissolve, and they put me right to sleep. I slept from 8:30AM to 9:00PM that day, and thought I was over the pills. The next day I was out with friends at a busy restaurant, and I fell asleep at the table. My friends woke me up and we went outside, and then I took my friend's keys and got into her Tahoe and slept while they were talking outside. I ended up going home by 10:30PM just about to pass out.

Then Saturday night I had to come home at 5:30PM because I was getting way too tired to drive anymore. My eyes were just about closed.

Yesterday I slept in. Then I couldn't fall asleep at night, and so I didn't sleep at all. And I'm at work right now, and tiredness is finally catching up to me. My arms are sore from typing this message, my eyes can't focus, I've caught myself dosing off a couple times since I've been at work, and it just plain sucks. I can hardly even type, and I'm supposed to be developing a program that will be distributed to our customers soon.

Does anyone know if this is normal after sleep dentistry? I tried calling my dentist but the phone was busy the couple times I called.

when they put me under at a doctors nothing ever works! they tried to numb my toe once and it took 18 needles and it still wasnt numb!!! i have a high tolerance for anything that tries to numb me or knock me out

5 seems like a lot of pills - what kind of pills were they? go look them up on the web

I dunno...they just popped them under my tongue and they dissolved, and then I was out.

i never heard that they use pills... i personally have only seen that they use syringe to make tooth area numb for few hours.

even for wisdom-tooth

ive had them use the pills when i had to have 4 teeth removed and they only gave me three and i was all screwed up for about two days

Wait they gave you pills that put you asleep for 12 hrs? Like were u awake at all?

when they did mine they only knocked me out for like 3 hours and if i was awake at all i dont remember i was gragy for like a day or two after words

You never know what those dentists do to their patients once they go to sleep. I hope you did'nt wake up with a sore jaw or a case of hemorrhoids. >>

Well, supposedly I half-walked myself out to the car with my mom when I left the dentist office. Then my mom was telling me that when I tried to get out of the car once we were home I fell into the shed and knocked over a bike.

And I supposedly went with her to go get movies and ate a cheeseburger too. But I don't remember a thing.

my mom said get some more and she will pay you for them coomer!

lol sounds like coomer was high & caught some munchies! >>
