Im with doggy on this all the way. Personnally I have only had oen set of wheels an tires. that were not like stock. I had nittos.. and they were banging.. griped so nice.. but they were also around i think $300 each. but they were wider for my bimmer like, 10 wide.
I think they look great Latin. I bet they would be very hot on your car. P.S. wrong forum.

Ugh, I like the graphite ones. Mmm.

YoungSurvival.Org-Celica traded for.. 350z.. traded for Mazda5.. soccer mom!
i got my rims and tires at discount tire co. 4 konig appeal rim(17x7 though) 4 khumos 215/45/17 all for $743. maybe you can get a good deal also.
check them out!!!
Wheels look nice, but get em in black w/ the chrome lip.

Tires.....ok. Don't go continental. IMO, all the reviews from people with them were unfavorable. The impression I'm getting, is a cheaper tire company trying to break into the performence market with minmal research and effort. Remember, you can either spend extra money on nice tires now, or later on body work when your tires wouldn't grip.

Seems like you're looking at spending around 500 on tires. I would recommand Falken Azenie, a great tire for the cash. If you have a lil extra cash, I would go Goodyear Eagle F1 gs-d3's. I love my f1's to death.

Toyo Proxes Ra1 for maximum grip, both on wet and dry.

I like these silver ones better, never been a fan of darker wheels that are black (or almost black). Just never looked that good IMO. They make the car look like those cars u see drivin around with missing hub caps haha
why not yokohomas, they are popular and good tires.. also a decent price
GRAPHITE LOOKS ILL!!!!!!!!!!

tires are too expensive for contenintals, get yoko p-spec 2s, or the new azenis
I made up my mind on the rims. I will try and get some 18x8 with +35 offset or stick to 18x7.5 in graphite. As for tires I am still researching, but continentals are out the window. Thanks for all the input ladies and gents.

This is incorrect. Continental are stock issue on many BMW's. They are not a "cheap tire company". Also, I suggest you read some of the reviews on the Conti-Extreme Contacts on tirerack.com. I did and thats why I bought them. Quite frankly, I could not be happier for either performance or wet/dry traction.

Jay
