i offhandedly asked for a new car alarm for christmas. mine blows. i thinks its a radioshack alarm?! well my uncle got me a k9-mundial-2. anyone has experience with it.

i know its probably not good but it has to @ least bebetter than my previous alarm.

my radioshark alarm is ridiculous.

never heard of them. Im a big DEI fan(viper, hornet,cifford)

K9 is made by omega they make a few different brands. Excalibur being the best known. I been using their stuff for about 10 years without any major problems. When I moved from NJ to GA a few years ago I managed to move to the same town omega is located in. (didn't know it at the time) Now whenever I need something I just drive 10 mins and pick it up. They are great to deal with either in person or on the phone. They may not have the reputaion that dei does but you also aren't paying for the name on the box. Besides the alarm is only as good as the install.
