this is the only lancia stratos i ever saw.... here in cyprus... with british plates.... and RHD.

for u over the atlantic that dont know about this car....
it was a legend in world rally champ... before group B and 4wd were used.... and to my knowledge only 100 pieces were made (or each year) for homologiation (or how ever spelled) and most of them are in museums.

i saw the car many times but first time parked.
next time i promise i will have the camera with me.

THAT is my dream car. If I ever were to see one in person i'd wet myself with excitement... ohh and to be exact, only 492 were ever made, recycle >> They made all the bodies between 72-74, with sales starting in early 74 itself. Up to 1980 you could still buy a brand new one because the car was massivly impractical on the road, so nearly all sales were to people who went to rally them. A true purpose built race car.. There were even pannels in the doors that were designed to hold a racing helmet!

Very rare sight, yeah I know about there rally history (a bit) and its quite a treat to see one in person, you should feel lucky.

I've heard of the statos - mainly because of Gran Turismo 2 it was a bonus car.
