People suck! If you dont label everything then someone tries to sue & get money for whatever stupid reason. I had no idea there was a contest for the best common sense label haha...here is the news article:

DETROIT - The sign on the toilet brush says it best: "Do not use for personal hygiene."

That admonition was the winner of an anti-lawsuit group's contest for the wackiest consumer warning label of the year.

The sponsor, Michigan Lawsuit Abuse Watch, says the goal is "to reveal how lawsuits, and concern about lawsuits, have created a need for common sense warnings on products."

The $500 first prize went to Ed Gyetvai, of Oldcastle, Ontario, who submitted the toilet-brush label. A $250 second prize went to Matt Johnson, of Naperville, Ill., for a label on a children's scooter that said, "This product moves when used."

A $100 third prize went to Ann Marie Taylor, of Camden, S.C., who submitted a warning from a digital thermometer that said, "Once used rectally, the thermometer should not be used orally."
I blame the increase of ignorant people on the increase of warning lables. These labels are messing with naturual selection and must be stopped! >mad.gif>

Any excuse to try to get easy money...
There are some really funny warning pics on the new HP LCD monitors I was installing, it has 2, one was with a guy (upper body) with his hand around his neck holding the plastic bag on his head, he has a wide open mough too, the pic had the circle with a diaganal line accross it (like the no smoking signs) It looked so funny. the 2nd has a little baby/toddler in dipers on all 4s with the bag over his head, same mouth, but the bag was tied off rather then held down, they gave me a good giggle.
