that may be true with the diesels but remember there are no other alternatives for a diesel powered car, its a VW or nothing... the majority of people I have known that own VW's, or did, were not thrilled by the fact that their reliablity was dismal... isnt VW at the bottom of the JD power initial quality survey? Im not positive but i'm pretty sure they are... funny even though thats true, as a brand they do have a good loyalty base, and the same goes for Audi... To me I think its because they are "statement" cars, people who dont want to blend in drive them...
