Does anybody know where you can find pics of what they might look like?
8th generation celicas - 6G Celicas Forums
I don't believe there are any in the works (notice: I -- I'm not an expert).
If you go on the Toyota website, there is a picture of a possible prototype 'Ultimate Celica' they have right near the MR2 Street Affair in the 'future vehicles' link. I wouldn't be suprised if a 8th generation looked similar to that.

I could see this as being a mid gen facelift... probably not a 8th gen though.
I'm not sure if I like it.. looks too much like the 7th gen which my g/f has and I REALLY don't like that platform.... but @500hp who cares!
not sure if this will work but to check it out try here
8th gen?
or just type this in

The P.O.D. at the bottom looks horrible... but with all those features it's still cool... wonder if it could give road head???
99 project version 3.0.. hello SEMA 2010 =)
The ultimate Celica was a 7th gen Celica project car built by Rod Millen. http://www.rodmillen.com/racing/ucelica/ult_cel.htm
There's a link to the write-up about it on his website.

damn he beat me to it ya rodmillen did that puppy up that nose looks wierd. but alongg time ago in supraforums some one posted some pics of the concept 8th gen and the "new" gt-4 thats suppose to come to the us and it looked somewhat similar to the 7th gens we had now but a little sleeker
The 7th gen celica is sell so well for toyota i don't think that they are going to change to much from what it is now.

Dont know much about the exterior, but I read somewhere that Toyota was planning on using the Altezza motor in Japan(4 cyl, Turbocharged) and putting it in the new Celica in 2005.......supposed to compete with Dodge's new SRT-4....we'll see!!

Pretty sure the Altezza has a 2L N/A. I believe its the 4th gen 3SGE also known as the 'Beams' version. They might have updated it though, who knows...

Well if they do something like put a turbo in it you can bet that I would consider selling my 6th gen for one. Umm the looks of the 7th with the power to back it up. Yummy.

id rather have the looks of the 6th gen with the power to back it up. i highly doubt that toyota will turbo there celica, theyv tried in the past wasnt a big seller, they dont see a need to compete with all this import tuning crap there gt, and gts are selln like hotcakes already but it would be nice to just throw that in for us >

Yeah that'd be sweet, I think most people on this site would like sommore power to there 6th's. It sucks that they didn't think about making a faster model for hte US. Ah well, at least it looks good.
that little p.o.d. thingy is cool... it smiles and wags its tail, but the whole watching you thing kinda makes me think about what if toyota sold all this info to big brother?????
