Where do you guys think is the best place to go to on a first date? Just curious to know what you guys would say.

A scary movie.

A PERFECT first date for me would be a picnic on the beach. >> But considering that it's winter and stuff.. take her to a scary movie (like white noise.. ugh I wanna see it so bad.) Then take her to a small Italian restaurant.. those are usually the nicest/cheapest/best. That would be a great first date for me. >>

Hee hee... its what I did on my first date with my boyfriend.

The movie is kinda a hang-out session at the movies, good chance to know what types of movies yur date like, and then diner, the "get to know each other time" which can lead to another date, if it goes well... Or "lets just be friends" if it didnt go too well.

normally a dinner and a movie...but everything depends on the girl. My first GF we went bowling lol And my last we double dated and went to TGIF and to see Shark's Tale >>

First Coffee, then activity, then dinner

I like coffee first. It really lets you get to talk to the person and really get to know them and who they are . With coffee, lapses in conversation can be quickly covered with a sip of your drink and then you can move on.

Activity is much more casual, as you can talk about the whatever you are doing while you are doing. Allows your fun and active self to be out there as well as hers. During this time you grow more confortable with each other.

Dinner is always last, because there are strange moments during the dinner process that, if you didnt get to know her over coffee and activity, can become very akward such as the whole distraction of what to order, what kind of conversation to make while you are eating, the akward pauses when they ask something and your mouth is full of food.

Fancy restraunts dont impress girls as much as we think they do, not on the first date. Take her someplace that you like, that youre comfortable in. By the time for dinner, after coffee and activity, youll know what to say and youll know what to do that any bumps that the dinner process may have will all disappear.

I took a couple of my first dates to car shows.
I was lucky enough to find the ones that love cars as much as i do.

Other then that, id say dinner and a movie.

From a girl's perspective, I love the very small Italian restaurants. They're not fancy at all, and usually pretty cheap. I love them. That would be a great first date.

And movies are fine, as long as you go to dinner AFTERWARD to talk and stuff. >>

Another idea is invite the girl over, cook her dinner.. something easy like spaghetti or something, then watch some movies that you rented. And when you go to wherever to rent (beforehand), pick a variety (horror, comedy, drama, etc) and let her chose which one to watch. You can snuggle on the couch and stuff while you watch it.

I think that would be my choice. I love cooking, and I love top let the girl know im not looking for a women to cook for me, and im looking for someone not crazsy and to have "good conversation" I was asked this the other day my my buddies new girlfriend, to see if she has a friend for me.

I first thought of Going to the beach with coffee, I use to do that alot with my last girl. Its nice cause it over looks the bay and u can seee the sun set, and the akward pauses and moments u can just stair off out into the water. I think as long as its not raining or snowing i would still do that. Just bring some blankets or somthing.

Also Im poor, and im not about to get ajob just to take girls out and screw school up again.

I'ed say dinner and a walk on the beach, even if its really chilly, (you can give her your jecket >> )

personaly a small unknown dinner spot makes the best place because its not packed at the peak hours so its quiet and easy to hear each other. Also with a smaller place you might be able to call ahead and talk to the manager to set up a special evening.

Take her to a club and buy a drink for her, then you go start doing breakdance and show her your pimp style moves. She'll get wet easily and bamm there you go you get lucky by a hot chick. Ive done it before and its worked. >>

I think that is the most stupid thing ever. I would not be impressed. That is just stupid that boys actually think girls will be impressed by that. The only girls that like that are stupid and aren't exactly "relationship" girls.

Hey Jen -

I saw "white noise" yesterday and it was a big dissappointment. It had some "jumpy" parts but the whole plot wasn't good. Anyhow, good first dates for me are dinner, movie, then a walk in the park at night. Dinner = talking in public so she feels safe cuz she's around others, plus you get to know her a little. Movie= the entertainment. And finally, the park= alone time to know eachother. I love to put my dates on the swing and push them or on the merry-go-round and spin them. Plus, on a clear cold night, nothing more romantic than the stars and moon in the sky while cuddling on the bench. Just a few pointers.

first date... something short like taking her to eat on her lunch break... or taking her to dinner (and maybe a movie.) Also taking her to play some pool is also a plus. It's a fun little game for two people to play, and it won't break your bankroll.
