I still say we should do a mods rides page with a link right under the featured ride, that way we can illeviate the modesty problem coomer has >

Coomer isn't stock, he's just not heavy modded. And why not recognize the moderaters somehow too. There should be a way to do this.

Ya know what would be totally cool? I don't know if you mods have all met up anywhere...but I think it would be sweet to have a featured rides with all of the moderators cars in one pic...Pay some tribute to these nice people who make it possible for us to post and learn and share ideas about a car we all love!

i see what supersprynt is getting at i believe ghost dogs car is more suited as a futured ride than coomers, if coomer would have put that trd wing and oem extensions on his car than hek ya but other than swap and paint it aint got wut it takes.

I agree. imo there is no way my car should be a featured ride. atleast not until its got a swap
as for coomer's ride being featured, I personally want it up there because I saw where he started from. before he started this site, while we were still on celica.net I remember every little thing he did to his car and how it developed. I'd like to honor not only his dedication but also the car thats come out of it. maybe I'm too sentimental, but thats how I feel

Drocay, some styling stuff doesn't always make the car. I'd like to see one featured that's fast and not all blinging. But do we have have one of those on the site? Logas and other 3s swapped guys (non-gt4) are probably the only one who are quick.

A body kit and a big wing don't make a featured ride. It's all about the love and dedication put into the car. This is how I think it should be. A 20v 4A is in a Celica is more unique than 4 12s and an Invader body kit (Sorry if I offended anyone, go is more important than show to me). Not to say those guys don't deserve there moment in the spot light too, but come on. I want to see that car as a featured ride. I want to know it's history. Any one with the dedication to make a site, especially this good of one has to love his car. Come one Coomer, lets see that car!

No see this is already turning into the sh!tter I can tell, getting to personal or close to home. There was just a discussion about what would be suitable FR cars. Now there are points for and against Coom's car and one strong point for is the fact that he has the 4a which leaves his car standing alone and in that respect it is worth pointing out and taking notice too.
On the other hand, everyone knows Coomer and Coomer knows everyone. That said, everyone knows his car, and if you dont then your not a daily, monthly or even annual visitor for that matter, so Featuring it isnt going to bring it to anyone's real attention because IMO the car is already in the limelight, has been and always will be.
Either way the car is great, the site is great. I dont complain I'm happy with everything and everybody.

I would def say the 4a puts it out there, but then again forgettign about what featured ride is about then goes to what supersprynt is saying, everyone knows his car, and it has all the recognition that it really needs..
