The president has to make more public appearances.

NOOK-LEE-AR!!!! NOOK-LEE-AR DAMMIT!

other than that, he rehashed the crap from his campaign, and didnt really explain his SS plan besides continuously reiterating it needs to be fixed. and a boo-urns to "creating an amendment to protect the sanctity of marriage".

on a side note, i loved how most dems showed on TV looked bored, angry, or both. or when half the room would stand and applaud and the other half sits there...high-larious!
I no longer care about what the president has to say.......why because when i joined the military, i found out, that the pentagon, makes all the REAL decisions..........Bush is just a figure head.......... >redface.gif>
For the Army they make decisions because they have the experience.

But I've totally given up and this country on the next 4 years. He wants to take away employer social security so then I gotta put away some money and have it grow. Right now the company I work for doubles what I put into my 401K. Yeah his plan sounds real good to the working guy. I couldnt hate this guy more.

If we had a decent Democrat running, Bush wouldn't be standing today.

Everyone had to choose between the 'lesser of two evils', and Bush came out on top. I'm sure 3/4 that voted for him don't like him either, but they'd much rather have him, than Kerry or some other nutcase.

I have the same perspective here, just from talking to what people like.
Interesting, my impression was that the Bush voters love him for his (arguable) moral values. Kerry voters mostly voted for the lesser of two evils. And that explains who won.

Didn't see the speech, but word on the streets is I better start practicing with the AR15. Because we can't kill Iran without a draft.

I didnt watch all of it, but it was pretty boring it was mainly about domestic stuff like social security, tort reform, blah blah, which is good but boring, I liked his inaugural speech better and freedom, helping those yearning to be free.
