Cold Air Product

This looks like our best bet for a good cold air system, it looks like it would fit right in there with no problem. Any suggestions or rants about this product?

looks good!!!!!! it's smart, you don't have to worry if it's raining and it seems very easy to install!
that looks like an awfully high price for something like that. you could make something similar for far less.
are you kidding me? 300 bucks for some F'in dryer hose with a filter?

I did make something similar to this, and it looks alot better too. All it cost was 40-50 bucks for the Honda short ram from advanced auto, and about 8 for a 3inch heater exhaust hose from Lowes. And it's easy to install. I'll try to get a camera to take some pics for everyone.

reminds me of when my friend extended his short ram in his accord with a drier hose lol. he eventually took it off as it looked wack and the hose began to rip.

Yeah, it's kinda like that, but the hose just blows cold air on the filter. It's pointed out that little hole were the fog lights are on some celicas. I take the filter off and conect the pipes when I know I'll need some power. Car still isn't very fast. My point is you don't have to spend hundreds of bucks on things like that, and it's not a good attidude to think that you have to. Professional racers use a similar divice.

i was just pretty much examming the design. It's just a hose, you don't have to worry about kinks or anything through the path, and it'll fit right down in the hole the old intake is. Just build a custom holder for the filter from there, and it's all good and dandy
