my dad is in a comma
they feed him with an IV thats called a G tube, it is a hole that goes straight to his stomach, and it has a little rotary pump to pump in the food, slowly.
the "food" is everything a human needs to live.
he used to weigh 220, now i think he weighs 150, he lost a lot of fat, but also a lot of muscle.
im sure it would work just fine for a person that isnt in the comma, but having a hole in your belly with a line going to it to pump food i would suck. you would lose body fat for sure, but im sure you would also not want to move too much(painful) and carry around the IV machine(you dont want to have a new hole poked in you for every meal do you?)
