Here are some tips to determine whether or not you need it:
1. if you don't have upgraded injectors... you don't need it
2. if you're not boosted or am running really high compression pistons... you don't need it
3. if you're not running some sort of standalone that controls EFI, you don't need it
4. if you're running basic bolt-ons such as intake, header, exhaust... you don't need it
5. if you're not running an upgraded high flow fuel pump... you don't need it
Basically... there's no point in getting it unless you have significant modifications to your fuel system and/or if your engine needs more fuel.
